LED display screen Grayscale refers to the color depth of brightness. When looking at the Parameters Table of led display screen, we always get the parameter value like 12-bit, 14-bit, 16-bit, etc. For digital display technology, Grayscale is the determining factor for the number of colors displayed. In general, the higher the gray level, the richer the displayed colors, the finer the picture, and the more apt to show rich details.

Grayscale of LED display screen means the color depth of brightness. It is expressed as 12-bit, 14-bit, 16-bit, etc in the datasheet table. For digital LED display screen, Grayscale is an very important factor for the number of colors displayed. General speaking, the higher the gray level, the richer the displayed colors, the finer the picture, and the more apt to show rich details.

The gray level mainly depends on the number of digital-to-analog conversions of the system. Of course, the system's video processing chip, memory, and transmission system must provide support for the corresponding number of bits. Currently LED display screen is mainly used:

1, the 1-bit processing system, that is, 2 (2 of the 1th power) level grayscale. A simple understanding is that there are only 2 kinds of brightness changes from black to white for LED display screen.

2, the 2-bit processing system, that is, 4 (2 of the 2th power) level grayscale. A simple understanding is that there are 4 kinds of brightness changes from black to white.

3, the 3-bit processing system, that is, 8 (2 of the 4th power) level grayscale. A simple understanding is that there are 8 kinds of brightness changes from black to white.

4, the 4-bit processing system, that is, 16 (2 of the 4th power) level grayscale. A simple understanding is that there are 16 kinds of brightness changes from black to white.

5, the 5-bit processing system, that is, 32 (2 of the 5th power) level grayscale. A simple understanding is that there are 32 kinds of brightness changes from black to white.

6, the 6-bit processing system, that is, 64 (2 of the 6th power) level grayscale. A simple understanding is that there are 64 kinds of brightness changes from black to white.

7, the 8-bit processing system, that is, 256 (2 of the 8th power) level grayscale. A simple understanding is that there are 256 kinds of brightness changes from black to white.

8, the 10-bit processing system, which is 1024 (2 to the 10th power) level gray. A simple understanding is that there are 1024 brightness changes from black to white.

9, the 12-bit processing system, which is 4096 (2 12th power) level gray. A simple understanding is that there are a total of 4096 brightness changes from black to white.

10, 14-bit processing system, which is 16384 (2 of the 14th power) level gray. A simple understanding is that there are 16384 brightness changes from black to white.

11, 16-bit processing system, which is 65536 (2 of the 16th power) level gray. A simple understanding is that there are 65536brightness changes from black to white.
